- We’re back! DCCE is the oldest children’s consignment sale in the immediate area with many loyal consignors and customers. But luckily we have a steady stream of new sellers and buyers and this year we hope to utilize Facebook to expand more than ever. Please consider joining us on Facebook at this link. As we have not yet found anyone to take over this enterprise we would very much welcome a group of you joining forces to keep DCCE alive. We continue to believe that it does provide a strong community benefit and the community will not be quite as well off if it ceases to exist. Potential buyers would understand that while there is some modest financial return, the reward for all this effort is not solely monetary.

Olivia and David have become involved in a local charity called the Durham Crisis Response Center. The Center helps victims of domestic and sexual violence. Our involvement has been with the Center's Thrift shop, Pennies for Change, located at 2715 Chapel Hill Blvd. in Durham. We invite all of you to visit Pennies for Change to shop for or donate women's clothing, accessories, furniture, home décor and electronics, and to consider volunteering your time to this very worthwhile organization. Visit their web site at http://www.durhamcrisisresponse.org/
for more information. You may call the store at 237-2167 for their hours.
